Look Out Boardman

The City of Youngstown is "trying" to push crime out of Youngstown with the mayor's "zero tolerance" and new crack down program

Will it work? Will it help? Who knows. There is no question what it will do though. It will push more and more violent crime into the burbs. Look out Boardman, the times are a changing. Thanks to the township trustees the township police department is down 25 per-cent and more cuts are coming. Boardman's dispatch center is being closed. After the next Youngstown mayoral election, the plan to annex Boardman into Y-town will be put in motion.

If you own property North of 224 it's time to sell. NOW, before t becomes part of Youngstown's Southside...Thanks Kathy

You can thank Elaine Mancini for this not Kathy Miller. Elaine Mancini spent the township into the current fiscal mess. Her and her rubber stamping crew, Leicht, Costello, Patterson, Seditz, and others. How else can you get to a point where you vote yes on spending nearly 20 million with revenues of 15 million! Thanks Elaine.

Boardman Section 8 slumlords tore Youngstown up. Boardman dope distrubutors tore Youngstown up. Boardman dope addicts tore Youngstown up. So, it's just the chickens coming on home to roost. GOOD. I hope they tear that shyt up!

My cousin was a member of the wedgewood rats. He is now around 50 and no longer lives in Wedgewood. Not even in Ohio.

Don't you just love it when Youngstowners blame the suburbs for their problems! With that mentality, there can be little or no hope for Youngstown. It's always somebody elses fault.

Those curmudgeons are still around. Look for 60 year old men with gray pompadours and satin jackets under your overcoats. You can see them still protecting their turf from rival 60 year old gang members like the "Millcreek Miscreants", the "Brier Hill Gang", the "McGuffey Heights Hoodlums" and the "Konglomerated Kornersburg Kings"

I have to confess, I usually get annoyed when someone starts a thread and everyone jumps in and completely changes the subject and the original post topic gets lost. But this is way to funny, you just called them "curmudgeons" and I am seriously starting to cry. That will be our word for the day, the kids will think I'm nuts. Maybe even two it made me laugh so much.
Many Thanks!!! smiling smiley

Urban Dictionary: WWR acronym for wedgewood rats, a gang of hooligans who ruled the midwest during the 80's by spray painting sides of buildings, robbing houses, and beating up

www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=WWR

Of course this site I can't access this site at work so I have no idea what it says.

1. WWR

acronym for wedgewood rats, a gang of hooligans who ruled the midwest during the 80's by spray painting sides of buildings, robbing houses, and beating up the heads.
"When I put on my flannel shirt and combat boots I am often mistake for the WWR"

Hey, I grew up on the South Side - not like you West Side pansies! winking smiley You left out the best and toughest gang - the Brownlee Woods Hoods. You know what we used to say at Wilson High - we might not win the football game, but we'll win the fight after the game!
