There's thieves in the private sector who still have their job. Isn't that right Con?

Nope, never. In my case, I don't even take home paper clips from the office.

Any theft in the private sector is automatic firing. No union arbitration, no second chances.

In the case of the Water dept guys in Y-town:...it sounds like they were forced to plead guilty in lieu of keeping their jobs.....IF in fact, the person in charge led them to believe they could "test out" without attending each and every classroom event, THAT is the person who should be terminated....in my opinion.....

No, internet access is monitored and anyone abusing it is terminated. Internet access is standard. We all use it on breaks and are allowed. It is also paramount to doing our jobs. How do you think I contact vendors?

Cycler obviously doesn't understand how real companies operate. Internet access is allowed. In fact, it is better to have someone stay at their desk and surf, than go outside on a smoke break.

If you're so down on the public sector, why do you want turn all healthcare over to the public sector via a European style single payer healthcare system?

Because it is infinitely better (Medicare) than the private option.

I know you hate government at all levels. I mostly have it at the local level. The US government is good at many things. Medicare and SS are great programs. So is the ACA. Medicare's costs are incredibly low compared to the same costs in the private sector.
