Trump’s Accomplishments: The First 50 Days
Posted by: Barbrady (IP Logged)

With Donald Trump approaching his first 50 days in office and with today’s news that the U.S. has added 235,000 new jobs, it’s truly astounding to consider what Trump has achieved in just the short time he has been president.

Here’s a list of Trump’s accomplishments so far;

– Trump is already beginning to fulfil his promise of being the best jobs president ever.

U.S. employers added jobs beyond expectations in both January (238,000) and February (235,000), with the unemployment rate falling to 4.7% and wages growing 2.8%. According to Bloomberg, America’s labor market is getting better “by any measure”.

– Trump has cut the U.S. debt burden by $68 billion dollars.

Since the day of his inauguration, Trump has wiped $68 billion off the national debt, which had ballooned to $19,947 billion under Obama.

– Manufacturing is at its most robust since 1984.

The Philly Fed Index, a survey of how well manufacturers are doing, hit its highest level since 1984.

– Small and medium businesses are confident about the future.

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index is at its highest level since 2004. Economic confidence is surging.

– The stock market keeps topping record highs.

The Dow closed above 20,000 for the first time ever days after Trump’s inauguration and hasn’t stopped rising since. The Dow has surged more than 2500 points since Trump was elected – a 12 per cent spike.

– Samsung is moving jobs back to the U.S. as a result of Trump’s election.

The technology giant will invest $300 million in expanding U.S. production facilities, creating around 500 jobs.

– Exxon moving jobs back to the U.S. as a result of Trump’s election.

Exxon will spend $20 billion over 10 years on 11 plants along the Gulf Coast, creating a whopping 45,000 jobs for American workers.

– Trump saved the Carrier plant in Indiana.

Trump stopped the Indianapolis air conditioning plant from relocating to Mexico, saving hundreds of jobs.

– Fiat will invest $1 billion in two U.S. factories

Fiat Chrysler is set to invest $1 billion in two factories in Toledo and Detroit, an expansion that will create 2,000 jobs.

– Hasbro is to start making play-doh in the U.S. again.

U.S. Hasbro, Inc. is returning to the U.S. and will make the beloved children’s modeling clay in a Massachusetts factory rather than in China or Turkey.

– Trump signed an executive order ending Obama’s onerous regulations on the coal industry.

Obama tried to bankrupt the coal industry, Trump is revitalizing it.

– Trump killed the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal.

This would have handed yet more power over to unelected globalists, creating a global regulatory structure detrimental to all Americans.

– Illegal immigration from Mexico is down 40 per cent in Trump’s first month.

Border crossings have already dropped by 40 per cent, according to the DHS as Trump moves forward with his campaign promise to build a wall.

– Trump issued an executive order to end “sanctuary cities”.

Trump has ordered the DOJ and Homeland Security to withhold federal funds from cities that harbor criminal illegal aliens.

– Trump began the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.

Although Speaker Ryan’s Obamacare replacement is being rightly condemned, Trump has at least set in motion the repeal of this disastrous policy which has seen premiums skyrocket and choice diminished.

– Trump selected Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court.

Gorsuch is a strict constitutionalist and will defend fundamental freedoms, protecting Americans from the scourge of judicial activism.

– Trump approved the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Keystone Pipeline.

The long awaited approval of these projects will create jobs and reduce gas prices for all Americans.

– Trump cut funding for international abortions.

American taxpayers are no longer paying for babies to be aborted by international non-governmental agencies.

– Trump returned the power to make decisions on “transgender bathrooms” to the states

The president ordered the DOJ to “withdraw a motion filed by former President Barack Obama seeking to allow transgender students in public schools to use the restroom with which they identify.”

Trump and his team have accomplished all of this in just under 50 days, despite the best efforts of the Democrats and the deep state to sabotage his embryonic administration at every stage.

This list would be a phenomenal achievement for a president who is entering office with momentum, political capital and fair media treatment, but Trump has accomplished it all even in the face of total resistance, sabotage and dirty tricks from the left and the establishment media.

All the economic things you mention above are Obama's doing.

All of the investments in plants were planned long before Dooshbag Donnie got elected.

You forgot the Lordstown third shift layoffs. Or are those Obama's fault?

Also, Obama was still president in January so not sure how you gave those jobs to Trump?

This is just a continuation of a trend started by Obama and with Obama's budget.

Any yet millions of manufacturing jobs remain overseas.

Compared to Obama saving a 1M+_ jobs by saving the U.S> auto industry, something Trump never supported.

These were all in play before Trump.

Stupid. Pollution from coal is a big problem. Who pays for the environmental clean-up? Republican shift the burden to the taxpayers. The faster we get off coal the better for America. The workers can and should be retrained.

The TPP wasn't perfect but it was better than letting China take-over the Trans-pacific markets.

Again, a trend started under Obama. Obama deported more illegals than any other President.

Gee, I thought you Republicans like Local control. I guess you like Big Government telling locals what to do.

Actually Trump punted on Healthcare. He gave it to the dysfunctional Republican Congress to work out. He's giving no leadership. The Republican plan is in big trouble. Another give-a-way tax break for the rich, "F" the poor, can't have another "entitlement", ya know.

Trump's entitled to he nomination, but so was Obama. Somehow Obama got robbed.

Again, big government stepping on the local people.

Some temporary jobs and a big waste of money. We need to get away from fossil fuels. Oh, and Trump says they can use Russian steel. Imagine that.

Sure, because back alley abortions are far better.

Oh, so on this issue local control is good. But on the others, not-so-much.

Trump hasn't dome anything. During the same period Obama lead the way out of the biggest economic collapse since the Great Depression. A collapse caused by Republican policies, the same policies Trump has embraced.

Gary, the funny thing is the data that was coming out of the Obama admin they claimed was fake and now the same data is real and all the result of Trump's policies that haven't even been implemented yet.

These people are so brainwashed, I'm not sure they are redeemable.

One thing Trump and Co. actually accomplished (not alternative) is to actually Bull$h*tt gullible people like Barbrady into believing anything and everything that comes out of Spicer and sidewinder KellyAnne mouths......Talking about the "unemployment" rate that has been hovering under 5% for quite a while would be an example of taking credit for something he had (so far) little or nothing to do with......

Thanks in no small part to the Russians that's something we will never know.

Gams and I are on the same page here.

Better than Hillary Barb? Really? Based on what? Hillary and the Dems are always better for the middle class and below and I doubt you are wealthy. Obama saved GM.

Trump will never be able to deliver his promises. Never. Manufacturing jobs are NEVER coming back. The ones that stay in America are getting automated. Coal isn't coming back ever. The wall isn't going to be built, ever.

America needs immigrants for many purposes. Many are highly educated and make America great. Many are doctors, business people, computer scientist, engineers, some pick the fruit no American will. Most are law abiding tax paying good people just looking for a better life.

Oh please. We know who hacked the DNC. Even Trump was forces to admit it after denying it for months. The Russians didn’t expose anything derogatory about Hilary, but they did spread a lot of fake news about her, which you Trumpiters swallowed hook-line-and-sinker. Support from a mass murderer/gangster like Putin really exposes Trump for what he is. And being such easy makers exposed you Trumpiters for the fools you are.

Once again Barbidoll shows her ignorance of how things actually work in government. It is accepted standard practice to never rate a President by what happens in his first year... Let alone his first 50 days because in that short of time he could not possibly accomplish things without relying on what his predecessor had already laid in place.

Play-doh? Really?

Coal coming back? Really? Can't wait to see all those new coal-fired locomotives, ships, power plants and furnaces hitting the market!

Meanwhile, Mango Mussolini continues to act like a spoiled little child, who throws a Twitter tantrum when anything upsets him, including lies about the former President. Haven't seen that evidence about the wiretapping yet! They must be tearing apart the TVs, microwave ovens and toasters in Trump tower looking for the bugs!

I leave with my one word again: RUSSIA.
