Of course - why not? It's not bad enough the creep Traficant made this area a national laughingstock, was convicted of multiple crimes and was imprisoned. No, the idiots who voted for him and continue to lionize him want to portray him as a tortured soul - an impoverished, imprisoned artist.

No wonder this area is in the shape it's in. Many of the residents are too stupid to know any better. Displaying the amateurish paint spatterings of a convicted felon as "art" proves it.

Dear Anonymous,

You are so full of anger and hostility. Has no one ever told you it is bad for your health.?

To call voters stupid is not nice either. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, my dear whoever you are, there are a whole lot of people who just love Mr. Traficant's art, you are obviously not one of them.

Pray, tell us your name and address so we can collectively send you condolence cards for a speedy mental recovery, you are in dire need of help.

Spread Love and Light, instead of hate, it would serve you better in the end.

Diva,

My goodness. Are you truly that sanctimonious, or are you just a lousy actor? Traficant's scribblings "art"? Maybe you need glasses.

His art is horrible.

Good Old Jimbo. Noone did as much for OHIO as Jim Traficant did. I worked with Jim, I know him. He has more talent in his little finger than all the critics have in their collective brains. His paintings are like a fresh breath of a talent. His imprisonment is a dark spot on this government. Jim WILL BE BACK!

"No wonder this area is in the shape it's in. Many of the residents are too stupid to know any better. Displaying the amateurish paint spatterings of a convicted felon as "art" proves it."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The reason "this place is in the shape that it is in" has to do with globalization and NAFTA;Jimbo fought hard against the outsourcing of jobs.

And, the reason that Jimbo is a "convicted felon" has nothing to do with "alleged bribery," but with Jimbo's efforts on the behalf of a constituent, Cleveland auto worker John Demjanjuk, who was being framed by the FBI's Office of Special Investigations as the fictitious "Ivan the Terrible."

Jimbo and his investigators had recovered exculpatory evidence--trashed in a dumpster behind OSI offices--that exonerated Demjanjuk. That evidence, submitted to the Israelis, allowed Jimbo to travel to Israel and save Demjanjuk from the hangman's noose. Jimbo then escorted Demjanjuk back to Cleveland.

Janet Reno and the FBI/OSI were willing to have an innocent man swinging from a hangman's noose in Tel Aviv. Shame on them!

As for Jimbo's bribery conviction, there was NO evidence!
There was "hearsay" testimony from witnesses that were threatened by Craig Morford and his "handlers" at the FBI/OSI. That was borne out in the testimony of Richard Detore before the House "ethics" committee, which ignored his testimony and voted to censure, anyway. Richard Detore was later acquitted of charges by Morford in a separate trial.

Not one shred of "corroborative" evidence was ever entered to support the government's "tainted" testimony of a Traficant bribe. There was no video evidence;there was no audio evidence;there were no fingerprints;and, there was no paper trail.Nothing but perjured testimony from government witnesses that had received threats from the FBI and IRS to "get Traficant!"

As for Jimbo's art, I like what I see. That's good enough for me. Beauty, like art, is in the eyes of the beholder.

Withholding art supplies form Jimbo is, IMO, cruel and unusual punishment.

I can't believe how people in this area stick up for this crook. For God's sake why don't we just put Jimbo back in Congress and Philomeona back in the prosecutor's office. Where's Ed Flask at these days? Could he run MVSD again?

Mob hits, daily stories about kickbacks and the national press laughing at us.

Man those were good times.

Jimbo is a fine artist. His work deserves national recognition.
