I do not get it she gets to plea and I do not. I had an accident a few months ago I did the wrong thing but made it right and my court appointed attorney said because of my 38 years with no tickets or accidents I would get a fine, I got a fine of 500.00 3days in jail and no lic. for two years. It took me two months to get driving priv. She had a prior conviction I have had nothing in 38 years where is the justice in that. I heard that Mahoning county is the toughest in the state for traffic violations, no more mills so they need to make there money another way. So drive careful out there check all your lights parking lights, turn signal lights, headlights, be sure to signal when you change lanes, and of course the seatbelt.

someone should look into her rulings on dui cases that were heard in her court. I'm sure there's some questionable verdicts on "friends" of the judge.

The so-called offices in this county are disgusting: drunken judges, coke head prosecutors, cops who sleep with kids, cops who sell dope, judges and lawyers fixing cases...

I just looked at the video. THIS is the kind of garbage we have sitting on the bench and making decisions over our lives and running the system? OMG! No wonder the judicial system is so messed up.

She is a disgusting pig. She is a serious drunk. Only the worse drunks pee on themselves. She gets no sympathy or respect from me. Especially after reading the comments of how she messed over so many people in her courtroom. Payback is a bytch.

She spent a career on the bench and before that as a prosecutor demeaning those that appeared before her, especially if the persond drug or alcohol problem. She would order them to tell her what they had been drinking or what drugs they had in their system and how many babies they fathered or mothered. She treated people with contempt. I am sure the Judge in Canfield will treat her as people with addictions deserved to be treated despite Cronin's failure to extend common human decency to those that came before her. She is a bully and was badly equipped to be a judge. Now we see justice has a way of evening out.

I HOPE SHE GETS ALL SHE DESERVES, SHE IS A SICK PIG WHO NEEDS TO FRY. JUST THINK, SHE WAS PUNISHING PEOPLE FOR THE SAME THING. STUPID DRUNK. NEXT TIME I HOPE SHE CRASHES HERSELF INTO A POLE.

She has taken responsibility for her actions which is more than I can say for 99% of the criminals in Mahoning County. She resigned form the bench after her first DWI. Most of the crooked politicians/judges would have fought it with a high powered lawyer and won. In both cases she sucked it up and didnt even try to weasel out of it. Its clear she has a problem and is acknowledging it. I hope she gets the help she needs. Maureen Cronin was a tough prosecutor and a fair judge. She has done alot of good in Mahoning County but has obviously fallen on hard times. I wish her well.

Such vitriolic responses! She obviously needs help and is now willing to get it. All the bashing responses are undoubtedly criminals who have crossed in her path and Im sure those encounters were not pleasant. Ms. Cronin was a prosecutor and judge who didnt put up with the standard BS that goes on when dealing with criminals and she will be remembered for that. Chin up MO. I hope things get better for you.

Dear Hippocrite,

Grow up and realize that people make stupid mistakes even ex-judges. I am in no way defending her. However, she is not acting like she is not deserving of what is happening to her. If you were pulled over tonight and behaved the same way she did on the dash video I know for sure you would not be on the news. Was she a judge ya... is she one now ??? No...do you know why she resigned??? I don't maybe her drinking had something to do with it. Thank God no one was hurt (beside her pride). Should her punishment fit the crime??? Hell ya,but wishing her harm makes you look like a fool, and it doesn't change what has happened.Do something positive and wish her well so she can get things back on track and be an example of someone who can change things and make a difference. If we all had to answer day in and day out for the stupid things we have done in the past imagine what kind of world this would be.

What a disgrace to our community.
