A very positive story for a risky, yet visionary idea.

If and when it happens, I will be a part of it.
It is a big IF.
The leaders of this area have been promising the young people opportunities in this region for years. I am not so young anymore and I am still waiting for those opportunities.
No... No... that's not right at all. You have to make your own opportunities. Man! I am starting to think like a Mahonkey Valley resident now. Living here for 3 years is starting to change me and make me think like you people. For too long the people of the Mahonkey Valley have been depending on the government, or Jesus or L. Ron Hubbard or somone to bail them out. For 30 years as of 2 weeks ago and we are still waiting for the government to save us and provide jobs and opportunity.
I won't bash this plan other than to say I ain't holding my breath either.

The reality of it is, if nothing is done as nothing has been for the last 30 years, I fully expect my children to move away from here in 18 plus years.
That is if we don't move first.

They may be able to polish Cleveland or Pittsburgh but will fail in Youngstown. Remember: You can't polish a turd.

It's not just Youngstown you ass.
You are a "shining" example of a turd that can never be polished. People like you are the real reason the Valley will always fail.
Good day to you sir or ma'am.

The guy tells it like it is and you hate him for that. Quit looking at this area from your rose colored glasses and you will feel the same way as he does. The mills closed 30 years ago and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Delphi is a skeleton of what it was 10 years ago, GM Lordstown has less than half of the workers from its prime, Forum is in trouble, Youngstown is still a cesspool, etc. Don't hate Township Resident for telling it like it is.

Don't Kill:

Like it is maybe. . .

But what about looking at ways to change what's to come.

Of course, we do need to build some "human ifrastructure".
