When we get rid of Wendy Webb and her spending plan then maybe the parents who obejected the levey last time will think about passing the levey in March. Ever time you ask her what and how the money is going to be spent, you get an answer that has nothing to do with what you asked her. Wendy... the parents, grandparents, and guardians of your students have spoken...loud and clear. If you can break down the spending your requesting for the levey, then maybe, just maybe we won't campaign so hard against the levey...NOT

After the levy failed, the superintendent finds more ways to cut spending!
If the levy fails again they will find more ways to cut spending! I challenge the superintendent to take a 50% pay cut with no raises for the next five years. Lead by example and show that we are all willing to sacrifice for the benefit of the children! If you do this, I will Vote yes! And oh by the way, it might just save your job!

Webb needs to go. Her mistakes are what have landed the district in the current mess. The simple fact that she kept her job because of a non-review should be enough to show that her review can't be positive. The fact that she's continued hiring administrators after firing teachers proves that her focus is not on what's best for the kids.

Hey Jenn, saw you on the tube last night. Way to @#$%& $pendy, as usual! And that Write clown, trying to spin a positive tune that we refuse to sing along to anymore! Yes, talking 'bout he knows nothing about the nepotism @ 20 West. He has 1/2 of that right, he knows nothing!

Weren't you the one that failed to turn in her evaluation ON TIME? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? You can put this issue on the ballot again but until $pendy is run out on a rail, or until someone can answer the decent people and tell us will the money be earmarked for the kids, we'll continue to, as The Zombies hit in the 60's went------------- Tell her no, no, no, no, no,no,no!

The new cuts are supposed to be presented to the commission at the meeting December 13. I urge anyone who wants to see the cuts made downtown to not only attend that meeting, but also to speak at the meeting. All you have to do is arrive a few minutes early and fill out one simple half-page form to be allowed to speak. Let the commission know the requirements for getting a levy to pass in this district. TELL them what they've got to do before they can gain the support of the community at the meeting, then perhaps the cuts will be made where they need to be made. Webb will be presenting her suggested cuts, which will inevitably leave the friends and family downtown untouched. Let the commission know that the schools need the money being squandered downtown.

From my experience 40 % of the students do not want too learn and disrupt the remanding students. So teachers spend a lot of teaching time being a security guard and a psychologist. That leads to school expenses, because now YPS need more special education teachers and police officers at the schools. When I went too the YPS we did not have one special education teacher and no police officers. Today you have 4 to 8 special ED teachers per school and at least one police officer per school. That equals more expenses. So what’s the solution?

Until the parents of these students start doing their job at home nothing will change! I don’t care how many teachers you have, unless the kid are their to learn, YPS will always have less academic scores compared to surrounding schools (Boardman, Canf, Aus etc). It all starts at the parent level at home! YPS have good teachers! it’s some of the students that are causing the problems. When teachers see kids coming to school filthy and getting suspended all the time. The school needs to call children services to investigate that home. Bottom line…it all starts at home. I just wish Webb would tell it the way it is for once or maybe she just doesn’t have a clue to what is really going on in those class rooms! More money is not the solution, so levy equals No!
