...why they are all so excited by "Youngstown 2010" downtown. I would be too. What a ripoff. The less they do they more they make.

I am really not impressed with Vindy reporting, Skolnick does no research just a puppy dog sniffing at the surface then runs home. BOC, the Mayor, Directors of Finance and Law will get no raises in the current Mayors term by charter law. You would think he would know that by now, or perhaps he might actually read the legislation which excludes BOC and Council, what a clown. The fact is the Deputy Finance Director will make more than his boss in the last year of the contract. How about that the Vindy puts wrong data on page one above the fold how embarrassing for them.

Is he going to put out a press release saying that to combat crime hes suggesting criminals go to the suburbs and steal? What a joke. Just wait until one of these so called city managers anre victims of a violent crime because now the hood rats know who has 9000 more a year now.....

A raise for what? The city is in turmoil, the crime rate is high. Who cares if Youngstown has move down the ratings poll, you should be striving that Y-town is not on the list at all. I'm afraid for my parents that won't leave their home because it's paid for. None of their kids live in Y-town, and we have been begging them to move. They need to take that money and invest in their school systems. The people on the boards, in management, their kids don't go to Y-town city schools, why is that. They talk about their precious city and how they want to help improve the city, why doesn't their kids go to East or Chaney? The city is full of very young adults, someone ought to be trying to make sure they all get training of some kind so that their kids are not stuck in the same rutt as them. THATS WHAT THE MONEY OUGHT TO BE USED FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so, what else is new. Another screwing from incompetent, fat cats. Notice how they slipped that 4.5 increase (compounded upon this years raise) into next year so there would be less discussion about it.

Pay raises ARE NOT ENTITLEMENTS. So what can we do? Well we can vote AGAINST everyone in the adminstration who thinks that this kind of action can go on and we have no recourse. Vote em out!!! Obviously, because of their lack of managment capabilities they are unable to live of five times what others earn!!! What qualifications are required to mismanage a city? Do they all have PHD's? Where will they get the money to pay this raise? If we do not vote for more taxes then maybe it will be necessary for some of them to loose their jobs so that those left can enjoy the raise. Just more bull @#$%& from those who are living off the welfare system provided for them by the poor. Yes, pay for lack of performance is welfare, Hope they don't think that I will vote for another of my tax dollars. a government not worth salvage!!!!

Joy, i feel your pain. This here bozo mayor was at my pastor's school Eagle Heights yesterday, at some dumb book signing, you know, some cheap book he wrote. My point is this? What does this "book" have to do with the fact 3 more killings took place this week? Or that these thugs, punks, rogues, bike mules, are STILL patrolling the streets and the cops aren't?

But yet, these clowns can continue to pat each other on the back for a job not done, get uneeded raises for what? But yet, this city is broke, and the weak powers that won't be refuse to fix the problem. I'm sick of Jaybird and his cronies!

And this inept chief getting a raise? For what? This city is small by comparison with the other cities, but yet ranked 15th? A steady shrinking city, and folks are fleeing like runaway slaves, but yet, this administration can get raises? Something is awry here.

But these same high rollers won't address the crime situation at all, but will get on the tv about a dumb book? I'd like to leave this city too, but i have planted roots here and these thugs won't run me away! And since the media refuses to listen to us, but can get every dumb word Jaybird spouts off, its time we hit the streets running people.

Stay tuned to this site because The Difference Makers will be televised!

Looks like the magic number is "4" When 4 people get shot, we have a big Zero Tolerance performance. When only 3 get shot, it's just another day in paradise.

Evidently, 3 murders is tolerated.
