No attorney can wipe the look of grief, remorse, and regret from a person's face. I'm not buying it. All I saw was a rich kid about to get out of jail free.

This creep should spend some time in jail ! I too saw the court arraignment and he looked like he needed a good attitude adjustment with a Louisville Slugger. Maybe if he was put in jail and spent some time as somebody's b!tch he'd realize the serious nature of his action. No sense us crying about it....daddy got the best defense lawyer in town and the charge was reduce to a 1st degree misdemeanor. There will be no jail time or probation. He will not learn ANY lesson at all. He will definitely screw up again someday.

Do you feel that the brother/mother have any responsibility in any of this?

I too have a 18 yr. old. I too have posted many responses to the shooting. I have commented on the double standard values placed on lives. In my efforts to retaliate against cruel posters. I have been cruel. Over the Christmas and New year Holiday, all I could think about was that Mother and her baby that was taken from her. Everytime my 18 yr. old exited or entered the house, My heart ached at the nightmare of what this lady is living. It is so easy to take things and people for granted. None of us expect a call saying our children are NEVER coming home again. This girl was killed in the home, where her Mother still lives. There is not enough grief counciling she can get. She will need support, love and prayers. And to have her other child she must look at knowing he is part responsible, does not help. God forgive me for using this to make a point about the disrespect shown to victims and survivors of the senseless killings, that plague cities accross the U.S. God knows my heart. Life is precious. Our children are precious. Please pray for this Mom. It could be you or me, it could be anyone.

and don't forget - she had to try to revive her daughter. That, in itself is tough to get over. I know - I tried to revive my grandmother and she still died. It still, to this day haunts me!

Don't you know it? You sweet spirit. Good point too! The Mother is going to be in my prayers always. My 18 yr. old made me so angry yesterday. I wanted to throw a fit on him. I thought about this..and it calmed me down. I communicate better with my daughter than my son. Its a woman thing. I know this younglady treated her Mother like a Queen. I know she will always miss her baby.My sympathy for the loss of your Grandma.

White trash??? Know what you're talking about, he was bi-racial, and not in any low income area.
