Once again we as taxpayers have to shell out more so cheap creeps like Artis Gillam can take his wife on vacation at city expense and use a city vehicle to do it.. I am sick and tired of having to pay for the likes of this little cheapskate.

I also remember a news story where Artis was $70,000 delinquent in paying his property taxes.

Makes me wanna PUKE!

Rates should go up as the entire city is a garbage dump.

Do a visual picture of Artis driving that big Crown Vic. ROTGLMFAO! He'd need a booster seat just to see over the dash.

For crying out loud - noone in Boardman pays only $6 per MONTH to have trash pickup. We pay about that per week! Get over it Ytown and pay up!

Here's an idea . . .why not annex the suburbs to get cheaper garbage pick-up rates!

They're already trying! Maybe they'll annex us and they can have FREE trash pickup again!

If they stopped picking up trash in Youngstown, nobody would ever notice as the city looks like a huge landfill.

Let me get this straight in my mind:
Buy a piece of land 1.1 acre for $17,500.00
Tear down the building and paving $470,000.00
The federal government is providing $320,000, and WRTA will get $75,000 from the city if the ordinance is approved today.
$320,000 plus $75,000=$395,000.
$487,500.00
- $395,ooo.oo
_____________________
$92,500.00 total out of pocket for WRTA. Not bad for a 1.1 acre parking lot.
Think the bus fare will increase?
Why didn't the "NON-PROFIT" Salvation Army pay for the demolition ?? Why would the Salvation Army sell a $600,000.00 1.1 acre for $17,500.00?
AGAIN PUT IT ON ( or to ) the TAX payer

Have a NICE DAY
