Only Liberal idiots can vote for a ban on smoking without any concrete enforcement of law. I have my own plan... every establishment I visit and there are people smoking, I'm going to buy that person a drink as a reward for making his own choice and not taking heed to another STUPID GOVERMENT FEEL GOOD LAW. Believe me I don't smoke, but until tobacco becomes illegal to grow then I'll take your STUPID smoking laws seriously. WAKE UP OHIO!!!!!

Speaking of choice, don't the republicans want to take the choice of abortion away? Think before you speak bible-thumpper!

The government did not make a law banning smoking in public places. The majority of the voters did. So unless you morons want to take the majority rules part out of the laws you need to shut your hole! The jerk who started this rant is one of those psuedo patriots who wants to pick and choose which laws he should obey. I have even heard veterans say they fought for the right to smoke where ever they wanted. I am sure that was uppermost in their mind in the heat of battle. Personally I fought to preserve the premise that the majority rules. If some of these posters are the norm I may have to rethink my position on the abortion issue!

As much as I respect and love what veterans did fot this country, nowhere in any paper they ever signed to enter/exit the service were they granted immunity from whatever laws they pick.

Stop using your "status" as an excuse to do whatever you want. If serving in the military meant you could be eternally immune to law, there would be so many troops we wouldn't know what to do with them all.
